Bill O'Reilly

I used to listen to the Bill O'Reilly show every once in a blue moon.

One of the things that was kind of impressive about it was that he turned talking politics into a big business. He usually takes some time during his show to plug his merchandise that can be purchased.

Do people really buy a 'No-Spin' coffee cup?

Yet, he seemed, early on, to be a personable guy and the show held my attention as I drove around.

Then Howard Stern played a tape of O'Reilly dressing down a member of his staff because he didn't understand how they wanted him to end a show.

He screamed, swore and embarrassed the staffer.

"Oh, maybe not such a good guy."

Then a story broke about his family. Then a sexual harassment settlement.

Turns out that's just the tip of the iceberg.

It's being reported now that Fox News has settled 5 sexual harassment claims through the years.

If you work at Fox on the same shift as O'Reilly it appears that you're gonna' get your ass grabbed.

Five times!

If they settled five of them how many were there?

The Human Resources guy is probably a little tired of all of it.

"What did he do now?"

Yet it appears that the Fox News location isn't where you want to work if you're a pretty, young girl.

As it turns out, April is anti-sexual-harassment month.

Donald Trump announced it.

I'm sure O'Reilly will try to not spin it into something else.

It's kind of funny, actually, if it wasn't so hypocritical.

The p***y-grabber and the guy who settled 5 lawsuits are promoting not harassing women.

O'Reilly's spokesman said that a person of his stature is very often accused of doing things.

Comes with the territory, I guess.

I won't be watching or listening.

My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards. They played with the big chicken that made a lot of noise. Mom tossed the football and Ollie brought it back to her. As the visit drew to a close I headed for the door.  “C’mon, Oliver,”
