Small Hands...Huge Mouth

I watched the GOP debate on Thursday night.

Well, as much as I could take.

What a freaking fiasco!

Are you kidding me?

The men running for president are talking about small hands...small other things and then they are denying such claims?

Sorry, folks.

I thought that Trump running would be good for a few laughs.

I'm not laughing much anymore.

It's kinda' turning my stomach.

When he was pressed for policy on a number of issues he couldn't stay out of his own way.

He's for keeping all immigrants out of the country. We know that. He's gonna' make Mexico build a wall to the moon. Except, during the debate he said that smart immigrants will be welcomed. An hour after the debate he clarified his remarks saying that no immigrants will be allowed and everyone will be deported.

What?

He's for more torture across the board. He came out and said that he would send his troops after the families of some of the terrorists. When it was explained that doing so would be a war crime and that his generals wouldn't carry out such acts he explained they would because he's in charge.

Later on he explained that he understands why he can't just kill people who may be related to the alleged terrorists, but he double-down on the fact that there's no such thing as torture.

He didn't denounce David Duke right off the bat because he was trying to think through how he could keep some of the votes of the known racists.

Hey, a vote is a vote.

Then the man who tells it like it is said that he didn't hear the question even though he repeated the question!

He's made fun of McCain, Rubio, Cruz, Bernie, Hillary, George W., Bill Clinton, Obama, the Pope, people who suffer with disabilities, women, Mexicans, Muslims and finally, reporters.

When pressed to release tapes about a conversation he had with a NY Times reporter he said that he wouldn't do it because he has too much respect for the reporter-interviewee relationship.

This after saying that the NY Times is a rag because it is partially owned by a rapist...err...Mexican!

But still...

People are considering voting for him!

Millions of people!

What in the name of all that is holy is going on?

"Well it's better than Hillary," a lot of people have posted.

Really?

Look and listen to what he's been saying.

That's not a candidate.

He's a raving lunatic!

And he's orange!!

He's freaking orange.

That's enough to stop this movement right there.

My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards. They played with the big chicken that made a lot of noise. Mom tossed the football and Ollie brought it back to her. As the visit drew to a close I headed for the door.  “C’mon, Oliver,”
