He’s A White Terrorist

Pretend for a moment that the bomber in Austin had been named Abdul-Rahman-Mohammad.

The narrative would’ve been a lot different, right?

Instead of the nerdy, troubled kid from a God-fearing family we might’ve had some wild tweets about the need for a wall, a travel ban, and a purge.

Weird how that works, huh?

This kid won’t warrant much thought...

...crap happens.

And my least favorite aspect of digesting yesterday’s news were those who immediately went forth and posted that “maybe we should ban bombs!”

We have.

That’s why there haven’t been 20 school bombings since January 1.

Yet, back to this troubled kid.

He hated gays. Was anti-abortion. Appears that he was a Home-schooled, religious zealot who had bronchitis when the compassion lessons were taught.

He learned zero tolerance for others who choose to live a life that strayed from his religious beliefs. Evidently he believed that those who were different...

...deserved to die.

He certainly terrorized his community, and the nation.

But we have to be careful with labeling him a white, radicalized terrorist.

Can’t lump all whites together, right?

That would be silly!

If it actually were Abdul-Rahman-Mohammad though...

...oh boy!

There would’ve been a run on mosques.

The tweeter on high would’ve mentioned that we have to figure it all out.

“All the son-of-a-bitches” type of tweet-filed with compassion.

Blame aside, however...

...we are losing a portion of our population to extreme hate.

The Bills Zay Jones was arrested the other night for a crazy, naked, violent romp.

I checked the comments.

(Big mistake).

The hate for Zay Jones and the color of his skin brought tears to my eyes. There were about 50 comments related to taking him out of the jungle.

Way more hatred for a troubled dark-skinned football player than a hate-filled serial bomber.

Not even close.

And no one even sees it.

The hypocrisy, the shame, the stain of hatred on the land of the free.

Onto the next, I suppose.

This was just a troubled kid.
