They Tried to End the Democracy!

I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but people should be held to account for January 6, 2021.

People died.

Security was attacked, beaten and mentally destroyed.

They breached the Capital and the information flooding in certainly seems to be pointing to the fact that it was organized by people inside the government.

People who are still there!

I don’t understand why more people aren’t outraged.

You stand for the flag and lambaste those who take a knee and you don’t care that what that flag stands for was obliterated?

“That happened almost a year ago,” one guy told me. “It was wrong but the Dems should let it go.”

Are you freaking kidding me?????

Does that go for all crime now?

“Sir, we discovered your wife’s body buried in the desert. We are arresting you for murder.”

“But I did that last year! Let’s just let it go.”

Watergate was a minor scandal compared to this.

We all watched it on television!

They met with the organizers of the insurrection in the days leading up to it!

Showed them a PowerPoint!!

Let them loose for 187 minutes as security walked away from ‘Trump supporters’.

They held tours to show them how to break in. Held security back. Threatened to hang their own VP. Then let the dogs loose for three hours!

And you want to LET IT GO????

Let him run again???

Talk about Behghazi??

We are at a crucial point here…

…a crossroads for the country.

Do we believe in this Democracy?

Or will we be fine with letting it topple?

For that dope???

My God…

…we can’t let it go.

Build a new jail for them if you have to, but make no mistake, those responsible need to go directly there.

Damn!

My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. He’d say things like: “You’re so full of beans.” Just a down to earth, hardworking guy who became a fast friend. We drove all around New York State setting up jobs. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards.
