D.B. of the Week - Dominique Sharpton

Wow.

Dominique Sharpton appears to be damaging her father's good name.

(Sarcasm).

Have you heard this story?

She is suing the New York City Government for "internal and external injuries to the whole body, lower and upper limbs, the full extent of which are unknown, permanent pain and mental anguish."

It appears that she slipped on the uneven sidewalk in Soho.

Poor gal.

Sounds like she'll never be right, and at such a young age.

She's only 29 years old.

It's actually a wonder that she's only suing for $5 million dollars.

(Sarcasm).

After all, her civil rights Dad has championed so many brilliant things.

(Sarcasm).

(Do I have to keep adding the sarcasm note or have you captured the tone?)

She's won the D.B. of the Week!!!

And do you know why?

Cause she posted a photo of herself on the top of a mountain in Bali!

Yep.

I didn't post it.

She did.

Did you ever think she'd be able to climb a mountain after reading about her tragic injuries?

Thank God she has recovered so quickly.

Wait.

Didn't it say 'permanent pain and mental anguish'?

'The full extent unknown'?

Of course, her lawyer is saying that the mountain top photo doesn't truly portray all the difficulties she had just scaling that stupid little mountain.

She was truly in pain!

(Sarcasm).

The story has really picked up some steam.

People aren't really taking up for Dominique or Reverend Al.

I'm sure that we all should just keep the poor Sharpton family in our thoughts and prayers.

After all, they have this poor, disfigured, D.B. of the Week mountain-climber right on the heels of the alleged tax evasion.

How much bad luck can one family have?

Yeah.

(Sarcasm).

My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards.
