One Hundred Thousand Lives
A hundred thousand people may lose their lives in the next couple of weeks.
Here in America.
It’s not an actual war. They’re projecting that more Americans will lose their life to the virus than 2 times the number of people who died in Vietnam.
It’s inexcusable.
We had all the information...
...in January.
On March 9th...three freaking weeks ago...the nitwit tweeted that “the flu results in a lot of deaths every year. Think about that!”
In February 18-ton of PPE was sent to China!
Yesterday, nurses in Covid wards were wearing Yankees rain ponchos for PPE!
Devin Nunes, two weeks ago, was telling people on Fox News that it was a “great time to go to the local pub because it’ll be easy to get in.”
And they continue to bungle it!
Do you realize that about 20 states don’t have any ‘stay-at-home’ instructions!
People are still visiting beaches in Florida.
On Tuesday afternoon I had a twitter discussion with a woman who tried to convince me that it’s “a hoax and anyone doing any of the stay home bullshit” is a blind sheep.
“Why are you engaged with that idiot?” She asked.
“Because there are millions of her out there. I’m hoping to get her to think.”
“That isn’t going to happen.”
And back to Trump.
Who was trumpeting that it was ‘like the flu’ well into March.
He said:
“I thought it could be bad. I thought it could be good. I didn’t want people to panic, but I thought it could be bad.”
One hundred thousand deaths is not acceptable!
By any measure...
...especially since you KNEW it WOULD be bad. It was never going to be good.
Not everything is fake news.
People thought it was cute that we had a president who didn’t read daily briefings unless his name was in the first sentence and then it had to be broken down with photos.
They didn’t want to put in a lot of words!
And running the government like a business sure doesn’t sound very smart anymore.
They gutted the regulations.
Defunded the CDC!
Just cut anyone who may have been able to prepare for this.
“I give myself a 10,” Trump said, just a couple of days after his idiot partner, Kudlow told us that “it’s totally contained.”
They’re trying to spin it now...
...but 100,000 is at the low end of the people who will die.
There is blood on their hands.
They wasted precious time and it’s all there for everyone to see.
