God’s Will

Cole Beasley is a wide receiver for the Bills. He’s a tough, little guy and a fan favorite.

He took some pain meds last year (his admission) and played the playoff game with a broken leg.

Wasn’t against science then.

But he’s now against science. He was tweeting about God’s will and how science is getting too much credit.

He doesn’t want to get vaccinated and is upset that the player’s association doesn’t have his back.

Couple that with a story about the Catholic Church talking about not letting political leaders take communion if they’re not against abortion.

Not that they have HAD an abortion but because they aren’t AGAINST it.

Shutting people down for their thoughts.

Just seems hypocritical to me.

Both situations.

The wide receiver talking about God’s will and “when it’s your time, it’s your time” but when it came to getting back on the field science was okay - he’s had surgeries and treatments. Meds and science.

As for the church…

…come on now…

…they didn’t censure the previous politician who certainly appeared to have some wavering positions on abortion.

And being Christ-like.

It’s certainly a crazy time to be alive.

The world is opening back up and we aren’t keeping track of how many people are dying of Covid every day.

You know why?

Because of the people who were vaccinated!

I’ve heard the “Why should I get the shot, I’m healthy?” argument.

Beasley even went so far as to say:

“I have people in my family who are sick. They can come see me if they want. If they don’t they don’t.”

Showing that he doesn’t care about anyone else, I guess.

It’s his decision and God’s will.

But he better be careful in what he thinks about or the church might not let him take communion.
