Fixable?

Since January, I have tuned out of the political world.

It’s a losing proposition.

No one is changing anyone else’s mind. People are simply dug in, no matter how nonsensical some of the rhetoric has become.

There is no chance that a man who lost an election in November will be reinstated this coming August.

Yet, the media is covering the possibility…

…bringing on “experts” to debate a fantastical delusion.

Meanwhile, something as necessary as infrastructure repairs is held up.

Both parties realize that we need to make improvements to roads and bridges and broadband and all sorts of other items.

The Republican administration promised it 18 years ago. The Democratic Administration talked about it 12 years ago. The Republican administration spoke of it 4 years ago. Now we are back to the Democrats.

And nothing gets done because even though they all agree it needs to be done…

…no credit can be shared.

It’s all block, resist and burn it to the ground before being seen as not a loyalist to a party.

No matter how nonsensical some of it is.

I’m not sure I fully understand the loyalty to a potential candidate for 2024 when that candidate has lost the popular vote, the house and the senate, and there is a grand jury looking into his crimes, after setting a record by being impeached twice.

That candidate would be 78 in 2024 and there have been signs of mental slippage.

Seems to me that a backup plan of some sorts should be in order.

But none of that is being worked on.

Seems the only job of the entire congress is to play politics.

And man, that costs a whole lot of money, doesn’t it?

Leaves a whole bunch of people who need help to keep their heads above water…

…helpless.

My days are filled with rock and roll music, and sports.

The hell with all of the political talk and banter and debate.

They’re all thinking about the mid-term elections and the freaking presidential election nearly 4 years from now.

Here’s a weird idea.

Get something done.

You were all voted in to do a job.

Pretend to do that.

This may not be fixable.
