Toilets & Burner Phones & Eating Paper

First off, one of the things that aggravates me is that a reporter or a politician will sit on an incriminating story to save it to try and sell a book.

But let’s go through a couple of things:

Hillary Clinton was absolutely destroyed over emails on a home server.

This week we found out that:

1). Members of the GOP were using burner phones to coordinate January 6th.

2). The former guy took box after box after box of classified information out of the White House. 

3). The call logs from January 6th were destroyed.

4). He ripped up documents. Really sensitive documents were chewed. Others were crumpled and flushed in the private bathroom. So many documents, so it seems, that the toilet was clogged. On numerous occasions.

It seems to me that the information being released now - on an hourly basis - makes Watergate look like a petty crime.

So…

…now what?

The crimes are being normalized.

No other past President has stood up and confessed to challenging a free and fair election.

None have cleaned out the White House on the way out.

Burner phones?

Flushing papers down the drain?

There have been allegations every day of the man’s life. None have resulted in him being arrested.

You wonder if these new allegations will result in a subpoena or an arrest.

I certainly have my doubts.

Not that any other person would already be halfway through a long sentence…

…but the ‘elites’ appear to cover for each other.

There aren’t many millionaires or fake billionaires behind bars.

Yet, there’s hope.

Graham, Pence and Moscow Mitch have all bailed in recent days.

Like they know something is coming down.

It has to happen.

Otherwise laws just won’t matter anymore.

Lock her up???

For emails?

But walk straight out the front door with boxes filled with classified information?

What a stupid time to be alive.

My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards.
