Lewd & Indecent

Social media was overrun with video of congresswoman Lauren Boebert, a true moron, at a theatre somewhere. She was vaping, singing, getting felt up and feeling up her date at a family event.

Comedian Al Franken was kicked out of his seat for making a joke ten years before he was ever in office.

Boebert, who appears in every photo with a gun on her hip, had recently spilt from her husband who was once charged with exposing himself at a bowling alley.

These people have kids.

Republicans claim to be the party of family values and are famous for claiming to be ‘people of profound faith.’

I tried my best to ignore the story all weekend, but the video of her groping the guy was everywhere.

She initially lied about what was going on before she was escorted out, but then later claimed that she was a little too eccentric.

“What is wrong with these people?” Someone texted me.

“She’s an idiot,” I said.

“That’s it?”

“Pretty much.”

And of course, there are zero consequences for any such behavior.

I’m old enough to recall when Dan Quayle was chased out of politics because he spelled a word wrong.

Howard Dean got blackballed for screaming weird.

Gary Hart had a mistress and got run out of town.

But lately?

We had a guy who made up his entire resume. He’s still there.

The current front-runner for president has been convicted of fraud, sexual assault and has about 91 criminal indictments.

Doesn’t it have to swing the other way?

How does one party have standards of conduct and the other just keeps shrugging and claiming God will make everything all right?

It is bizarre.

Those who hold office should be held to account.

They threw her out of the theatre as they should have.

They should keep expelling her.

She doesn’t belong in Congress.

Eccentric?

‘Idiotic’ is a better word choice.
