Stand By Your Man

Gisele Bundchen is a pretty good-looking girl. Obviously, no Kathy Fazzolari, but she earns a hundred million or so, so she has that going for her. Evidently she also stands by her man.

After the Super Bowl loss a few Giants fans were chiding Gisele about her husband, Tom Brady, the slug of the family who only brings in about 20 mil a year.

"Brady is the Giants bitch!" the fans supposedly screamed.

"He can't throw it AND catch it!" Gisele yelled back. She also talked a bit before the game asking people to pray for Tom to be successful.

I imagine Tom would want her to stay quiet. After all he has to play with those guys again and I don't imagine that they enjoyed being called out by Tom's old lady.

A few years back Kathy yelled back at a group of guys who were making fun of the Yankees. I was wearing my Yankee ball boy outfit at the time, in the opposing teams stadium parking lot.

"Please be quiet," I said. "They aren't going to beat the hell out of you."

And I know that if my life played out on the world's stage, and people were dissing me, my wife would be telling all of them to piss off.

So, I don't see a lot wrong with it, actually. She was standing up for her poor downtrodden man.

Something tells me it will all work out just fine. They have probably worked it all in their million dollar mansion with their million dollar clothes as they eat their fancy meals and cry in their ten thousand dollar glass of wine.

Poor Tom.

Poor Gisele.

Maybe we should have a benefit for them or something.

Like a lot of other people we got pulled into the series, ‘Suits’ on Netflix. I’ve never had much fun hanging around lawyers who have questioned me as a construction safety officer. My Buddy, Dave

Way back in 1997, I started working with a steel erection company out of Syracuse. I was coming straight from a long stint with a steel erector here in Buffalo so I knew my stuff when it came to steel erection safety rules. On day one, I met with the safety director and he was just getting started as a safety guy, but man, he certainly cared about the guys he worked with. Dave was a good man from the start. He’d say things like: “You’re so full of beans.” Just a down to earth, hardworking guy who became a fast friend. We drove all around New York State setting up jobs. I always let Dave drive so that I could rest. Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards.
