Deep Breath
The backlash from the Oval Office beat-down will be felt for a long, long time, and it depends on where we go from here.
I took a deep breath this morning.
Part of the game being played is the flooding of the zone to enrage and divide.
It’s only been five weeks!
We’ve watched the FAA destroyed. Vets are being laid off in droves, government employees are being fired or are being forced to sing for their supper. Immigrants are being flown to Guantanamo where they’re being kept in cages. There are cuts that threaten Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. The EPA and FEMA are being gutted, and it’s all in the name of saving money, while the new budget proposal will result in billions upon billions being added to the deficit. The coming tariffs are going to cripple small town businesses.
Whoooooooooo!
All in five weeks.
All by design.
Musk is on X calling people ‘retards’.
There were 9 rounds of golf in the first 20 days besides!
But, my plan to ignore it all and shrug my shoulders as those who voted for him finally figured out the con as they watched their lives blow up.
Couldn’t do it!!!
Listening to Bruce and the Stones and following baseball news wasn’t enough to distract me enough to ignore it all.
Especially when they attacked Zelenskyy.
(A huge gulp of air).
I can’t get over the fact that men and women died in the fight for freedom and Democracy.
Normandy.
All those who are good with the backing of Russia should be banned from ever waving the American flag, or singing the goofy Lee Greenwood song.
As anti-American as one can get.
Misrepresenting what was ‘given’ to Ukraine is embarrassing.
Blaming a country that was INVADED is incomprehensible.
I finally put the phone down.
Not a damn thing I can do, but hang on.
Five damn weeks.
It’s getting hard to breathe.
