Are We Great Yet?

Okay, let’s take stock:

1). The stock market is tanking.

People think, well, it goes up and down. The problem is that most people have their retirement in the market through the 401K. 

Losing your retirement wouldn’t be so bad except:

2). They’re gutting social security, Medicare and Medicaid in an effort to make enough money to cover a tax break for the ultra-rich.

A typical worker will work until death.

3). Veterans are suffering.

Recall how he hugs the flag? His words about brave vets don’t match his actions. Then again, he did call them losers and said that he liked the soldiers who weren’t captured.

Every general who has worked with him has called him a traitor.

4). Ukraine will be destroyed.

There’s no way they’ll survive without our help. We aren’t helping. We’re on the side of the nation that invaded, and is murdering people without thought.

Are we great yet?

5). All I’ve heard from the GOP side of things is that the last four years have been horrible.

When pressed for an answer there isn’t one. Just some garbage about immigrants pouring in.

Well, farmers don’t have a crew to milk the cows or pick the vegetables.

Laborers and framers aren’t showing up for their construction jobs which is going to destroy the housing plan. 

6). We’re fighting with Mexico, Panama, Greenland and freaking Canada!

Tariffs are a tax on Americans. Everyone is talking about eggs, but Canada is striking back - the cost of electricity will go up about $70 a month on millions of Americans.

7). The plan is being sold as something that will set the course of America on a better economic path 100 years from now.

I’ll be about 70 years dead when we finally are great again.

Not quite excited about all that because:

8). The people in charge are criminal morons.
