There was a report on Saturday that Trump referred to Harris as ‘retarded.’

I commented on Facebook that it was reprehensible.

I don’t normally comment on Facebook but - it was reprehensible!

I was jumped by a stranger who explained that he isn’t politically correct but that he would:

1). Secure the border.

2). Prevent World War III

3). Stop child trafficking 

4). Lower taxes

5). Lower grocery prices.

6). Stop abortion

7). Bring Christ back to our schools.

Okay, I’ll play.

He ran the first time on securing the border by building a big, beautiful wall that Mexico would fund.

Didn’t happen.

He lowered taxes all right - on rich people - that crippled the middle class.

He stole a truck load of classified documents and hid them. Lord knows who he sold them to.

He’s in Putin’s back pocket - he handed over Covid tests to Russia while Americans were searching for them.

Speaking of which - he bungled covid - lied about it, recommended that people drink bleach, and then fought with the vaccine roll out that he took credit for.

He was convicted of sexual assault, fraud and a total of 34 felonies and he is going to be sentenced for those crimes.

His company was found guilty of fraud and can’t do business in New York State.

He was also found guilty of fraud and paid a huge fine for Trump University.

He went bankrupt 6 times.

He lost jobs as president and not only didn’t have the greatest economy in the history of the world - we all sat home for about a year (see Covid disaster).

Everyone who worked with him is voting against him.

He tried to get his vice-president hanged and will be on trial for trying to overthrow the entire freaking Democracy.

He golfed every weekend.

Did nothing on Infrastructure, health care, education, border control, or any other damn thing except that tax cut for the rich.

Abortion?

Yeah. Settled law was overturned and women are not happy about it.

Quite the resume.

I answered the woman with just 5 simple words and then blocked the conversation:

“You are in a cult.”

Sorry.

It’s just such a ridiculous election.

He simply should not be a candidate for the head of the table after he tried to overthrow the whole shebang.

Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards. They played with the big chicken that made a lot of noise. Mom tossed the football and Ollie brought it back to her. As the visit drew to a close I headed for the door.  “C’mon, Oliver,”

Eyes on the Horizon

My sister’s book is out there! Go get it!! It makes me so proud to see the book on Amazon, knowing that it’s very, very great! It’s been a long, long time since we were out in California, brainstorming my stories long before they were published. Carrie Lynn was writing, writing and writing some more through the years and I kept telling her… …”Go for it!” Well, she did!  To amazing results. Of course I was able to read the book as it was being put together, but I ordered a copy from Amazon yesterday and can’t wait to read it again. The shoe is on the other foot now as I have been sitting on a lot of my writing lately. I plan on getting it out there before the end of 2024, but for now: Carrie takes center stage! And it’s so great… …go get a copy!
