Stupid Snow

Last weekend was the first weekend without golf.

Missed it.

This coming weekend we are hearing about the coming snowfall.

One to three feet possible.

“I can’t shovel this shit,” I announced.

Camp Clifford was silent.

There’s only one son here, and he ain’t shoveling either.

Thankfully we have plows around and if we get the absurd amounts I have a contractor.

“You better get your footballs in the house,” I told Oliver, “Or we won’t see them until spring.”

We can still play in the snow but not if we can’t find the ball.

And, of course, the snow hasn’t stuck around long even when it has landed in feet.

Over the last several years it’s gone to 60 within a couple of weeks and everything melts.

But the Bills play home Sunday night against the 49ers…

…a heavyweight matchup.

Two of the boys are going.

Weather forecast is for 30 mph winds and 6 inches of snow at the NIGHT game!

I don’t even have a dollar figure on what it might take for me to go…

…just say the Bills and Erie County would have to pony up more than 10 g’s for me to take a seat out in that garbage.

About 70 days to my golf trip.

Going to feel like a year.
