Putin’s Puppet

Eight years, ago I boldly declared in this blog that Agent Orange was a Russian asset.

Haven’t seen a single thing since that sways my opinion on that, and what he said about the Ukraine-Russia war just verified what so many now believe.

In case you missed the dumbest thing said yesterday (and there are plenty of dumb things to choose from each day) the portly pig said that Ukraine shouldn’t have participated in the war.

They were invaded!!!!

They were trying to defend their homeland and thousands upon thousands of their citizens were slaughtered.

To make it worse, the Russian asset explained that Russia should be able to keep the land that they invaded because Ukraine killed a lot of their soldiers.

Maybe their soldiers should’ve stayed the hell home!

There are so many ways to illustrate that this is a horrible opinion.

Imagine Pearl Harbor…

…Japan attacks the United States who responds.

In this example, Fat Hitler believes that Japan was wronged.

“I don’t know how to ignore it,” a buddy of mine texted. “I’m so down about life. I work, and just try to relax a little bit, and every damn day is worse than the day before because I can’t shake the thought that we are under Russian control.”

“You think?” I asked. “He’s been kissing Putin‘s ass for decades! He owes millions. There’s a pee tape. Mueller found proof. They called in bomb threats. Half the GOP went to Russia for the 4th of July.”

No one seems concerned.

“Why shouldn’t we be friends with Russia?” A MAGA asked me.

“Because he’s a murderous dictator who wants to end us! Why the hell do you suddenly love Putin?????”

I’ll never know why, I guess…

…but I know ONE thing to be absolutely, 💯 percent true…

…he’s a Russian asset.

And that’s NOT a good thing.

The other night I got home from work and Kathy and Sam were engaged in a game of backgammon. Sam had never played and wanted to learn. He got some late doubles and won his debut game. (I helped a little). And I thought of my buddy, Gag. We were roommates at Gannon back in 1983. We played at least 25 games of backgammon a night. By the end of the year he wound up beating me by just a couple of games out of a few thousand. Eyes on the Horizon

My sister’s book is out there! Go get it!! It makes me so proud to see the book on Amazon, knowing that it’s very, very great! It’s been a long, long time since we were out in California, brainstorming my stories long before they were published. Carrie Lynn was writing, writing and writing some more through the years and I kept telling her… …”Go for it!” Well, she did!  To amazing results. Of course I was able to read the book as it was being put together, but I ordered a copy from Amazon yesterday and can’t wait to read it again. The shoe is on the other foot now as I have been sitting on a lot of my writing lately. I plan on getting it out there before the end of 2024, but for now: Carrie takes center stage! Eyes on the Horizon Review

It’s always strange for me when someone I know tells me that they read my books and it’s weird for them because they think of me as they’re reading the story. I didn’t quite grasp what they meant, and hoped that they’d get caught up in the story and not me. I kind of get what they’re saying now because I just finished reading my sister Carrie Lynn’s excellent first book, ‘Eyes on the Horizon’. Now, I had read the story a long while ago, but a whole lot of work went into the end product. As a writer, I always try and guess along with the author because I can see the plot lines, and I’m often critical of plot lines that come out of nowhere as the author tries to unpaint the corner he’s stuck in. There was none of that in ‘Eyes on the Horizon’! I didn’t have any moments of, ‘Come on, now, that doesn’t work!’ I caught all the subtle lines that we shared in conversations and I was proud that Carrie defined her characters clearly and used them to propel the story forward.
