For a mere $5 million (payable to Drumpf/Musk I assume) you can buy an American citizenship.

Seriously.

The group throwing out children born on American soil are now selling citizenship to anyone who can meet the price.

“Would that include Russian oligarchs?” A reporter asked.

“Sure, why not?” Was the response.

Wonder how the MAGA crowd, who wants to send everyone back to their country, feels about that?

I’m absolutely sickened by the news.

Medicaid appears to be gone.

Poor people who depend upon Medicaid for health coverage are now kicking back to 8 billionaires who control more wealth than 90% of the country.

Read that again.

8 people control more wealth than 90% of the population of the country.

Those 8 people will get a massive tax cut.

We’ve been sold.

The tragic thing is that I’m seeing a lot of posts from people who backed this administration through three elections.

They’ve lost jobs, funding, financial assistance, and their healthcare and they’re writing letters to President Musk telling him:

“You’ve made a mistake! I wanted you to get rid of waste, but I was on your side.”

MAGA is in great despair.

In red states they’re filling town halls to cry that they wanted other people to suffer, but not them!

Here’s the thing:

They aren’t needed anymore.

So, you fell for the con…

…you don’t get your money back.

It’s like playing the shell game on the New York City streets and losing track of your dollar and then demanding that the con artist return the cash.

Won’t happen…

…and I’m not taking joy in hearing the stories of people who voted for him and are now in utter despair.

Wait until the tariffs kick in and the market collapses.

Inflation and unemployment soaring.

But 8 people making billions.

Just how the founding fathers wanted, right?

America is for sale.

And the common people aren’t going to benefit.

There’s nothing under the shell.

The other night I got home from work and Kathy and Sam were engaged in a game of backgammon. Sam had never played and wanted to learn. He got some late doubles and won his debut game. (I helped a little). And I thought of my buddy, Gag. We were roommates at Gannon back in 1983. We played at least 25 games of backgammon a night. By the end of the year he wound up beating me by just a couple of games out of a few thousand. Eyes on the Horizon

My sister’s book is out there! Go get it!! It makes me so proud to see the book on Amazon, knowing that it’s very, very great! It’s been a long, long time since we were out in California, brainstorming my stories long before they were published. Carrie Lynn was writing, writing and writing some more through the years and I kept telling her… …”Go for it!” Well, she did!  To amazing results. Of course I was able to read the book as it was being put together, but I ordered a copy from Amazon yesterday and can’t wait to read it again. The shoe is on the other foot now as I have been sitting on a lot of my writing lately. I plan on getting it out there before the end of 2024, but for now: Carrie takes center stage! And it’s so great… …go get a copy!

Eyes on the Horizon Review

It’s always strange for me when someone I know tells me that they read my books and it’s weird for them because they think of me as they’re reading the story. I didn’t quite grasp what they meant, and hoped that they’d get caught up in the story and not me. I kind of get what they’re saying now because I just finished reading my sister Carrie Lynn’s excellent first book, ‘Eyes on the Horizon’. Now, I had read the story a long while ago, but a whole lot of work went into the end product. As a writer, I always try and guess along with the author because I can see the plot lines, and I’m often critical of plot lines that come out of nowhere as the author tries to unpaint the corner he’s stuck in. There was none of that in ‘Eyes on the Horizon’! I didn’t have any moments of, ‘Come on, now, that doesn’t work!’ I caught all the subtle lines that we shared in conversations and I was proud that Carrie defined her characters clearly and used them to propel the story forward.
