“Let ‘Em Die”

Karoline Leavitt goes to the podium every day wearing a crucifix.

Then she spouts the most anti-Christian propaganda that I’ve ever heard.

“When an illegal alien goes to the ER without insurance who pays for it?” She shouted with a disgusted countenance.

Then she answered her own question with an even nastier scowl:

“The American taxpayer!”

And everyone sits there. 

No follow-up questions. 

Fox News and MAGA are horrified and enraged. They play the clip all day and clap for that empty-headed witch.

Okay:

I’ll do the follow-ups!

First, which president enacted the law that requires treatment for those who can’t pay?

Answer: Ronald Reagan.

Why would he do that, you ask?

Answer: Because they pay $12 billion is taxes and social security each year, and because if someone needs life-saving assistance, Reagan believed that Jesus Christ would demand that we treat a human being in need. (And I was no fan of Ronny, but he had SOME sense of right and wrong).

And no one asked Leavitt this one:

“What should we do if someone shows up at the ER and needs help?”

Do we drag them to the parking lot and wait until they die?

Or:

I’d ask this question:

“Do you know who pays for the president to golf every weekend?”

Answer: The American taxpayer.

Or

“Do you know who pays for the gold in the White House?”

“Do you know who pays for the president to go to the MMA fights?”

“Do you know who pays for ICE to pepper spray protesters?”

Answer to all: 

The American taxpayer.

One final question:

“Would Jesus Christ rather that the American taxpayer pony up for gold in the Oval Office or save the lives of human beings who just happen to be called ‘illegal’ by fake Christians who don’t care for anything other than how much money they can stuff into their already full pockets?”

I’m starting to get truly pissed off.

This ain’t the America we learned about.
