It’s the Guns

Conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was shot to death yesterday afternoon.

A 31-year old father.

That’s a shame.

It truly is, and about a half hour later there was a news alert about three high school kids shot to death.

We don’t even read about all the shootings anymore.

They’re old news.

And there will be a lot of discussion about the political division and how the hateful rhetoric has caused the violence.

There’s some truth to that, but tolerating January 6th and pardoning those who did it, went a long ways to promote the violence.

We accepted it.

I don’t see a reasonable way out of this.

Charlie Kirk isn’t the first political figure to be gunned down this year.

I’m hoping it will stop, but I don’t see how.

There are guns in the hands of unstable people.

Guns don’t kill people but unstable people with guns do.

It’s a terrible thing.

Horrible.

Pray it stops.
