Five Years Ago

It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since we watched an insurrection at the Capitol.

What a horrible, horrible day, and I mostly recall the night before when I told my wife that it was going to happen, and she doubted that any such thing could happen here.

How I long for that day, because it’s a whole lot worse now.

Stephen Miller, yesterday, explained the new policy of this regime, by saying, “We’re a superpower. Why wouldn’t we take what we want?”

They plan on taking over Cuba, Greenland, and Columbia.

You know who talked like that?

Think back…

…he was German.

If that doesn’t make you look back fondly on a simple insurrection, I don’t know what to say.

And of course, it’s horrifying.

It’s like me going into my neighbor’s house and taking over because I don’t like the way he cuts his lawn.

He has good stuff and I want it and I should be able to take it because he’s old and frail and I’m stronger than him.

Why wouldn’t I just take his shit?

And here’s the thing.

We are all talking about the atrocity of Venezuela and not the Epstein files.

He’s a pedophile!

He stands accused of raping children and trafficking them to a man who was convicted of heinous crimes…

…and then was forced into ‘suicide.’

We have to keep that in the news.

No matter what nation ‘we’ invade.

This isn’t the country we know and love.
