That’s the ear of the man that was supposedly blown off by an AR-15 just three weeks ago.

Let’s review what we know about the so-called shooting at the political rally.

An interview with the family of the man who died?

A breakdown of the suspect…who was shot? 

His family?

Where did he get the gun?

Why did he attempt to take the life of the leader of the party that he supposedly supported?

Are there records of the visit to the hospital to bandage that fully healed ear?

Come on, now…

…there is nothing!

A non-story.

My number one question was about why the secret service allowed their mark to stand up, position himself in front of the flag, pick his head up and pump his fist yelling, “fight, fight, fight!”…

…all before anyone knew if the threat was over.

Now, I sound like a crackpot conspiracy theorist, right?

Yet, he’s a quick healer?

His ear was supposedly hit by a bullet from a powerful weapon.

“There was a lot of blood!”

I’m thinking that we will learn the truth of the matter about a decade from now.

Yet the little bit of play acting that day allowed people to spin a narrative about a tough guy who was spared, by God, to save all of us.

Nope.

We just let it go.

This past week the cry at his rally is all about parents who send their kids off to school only to get those children back a few days later…

…to discover that the school provided the kid with a sex change operation.

Seriously.

He is repeating that (as well as talking about Hannibal Lector as if he isn’t a fictional movie character) at every single rally.

The student getting a sex change operation at school has never happened.

Won’t ever happen.

Is ALL made up.

Kind of like the gunshot to the ear story.

Mom & Ollie

 Ollie Stadium is a mess. The heavy rains rendered the backyard a mud pit and even though we threw in the side yard, the Big O was looking for more, and we were both covered in mud. I had to take some steam out of him somehow so I suggested we go visit Grandma. Ollie hates the car, but he laid quietly as we made the trip. We even brought the football because there is plenty of room to play at Grandma’s. Mom opened the door and started laughing. I thought about the love she had for every single dog we ever had. Oliver was quick to give my Mom a kiss, and then he stood beside her. The love between Mom and Dogs is a mutual bond. Through the years, Mom would make breakfast for the dogs.  Fried eggs, toast, bacon… She would wrap Christmas gifts for them. “To Jeter, Love Santa,” she would write on the cards. Eyes on the Horizon

My sister’s book is out there! Go get it!! It makes me so proud to see the book on Amazon, knowing that it’s very, very great! It’s been a long, long time since we were out in California, brainstorming my stories long before they were published. Carrie Lynn was writing, writing and writing some more through the years and I kept telling her… …”Go for it!” Well, she did!  To amazing results. Of course I was able to read the book as it was being put together, but I ordered a copy from Amazon yesterday and can’t wait to read it again. The shoe is on the other foot now as I have been sitting on a lot of my writing lately. I plan on getting it out there before the end of 2024, but for now: Carrie takes center stage! And it’s so great… …go get a copy!
