What an absolute clown show.

Let’s try and figure this out, shall we?

We were told that tariffs were necessary because the country is going bankrupt and we need billions upon billions flowing in to save us.

We also needed to bring manufacturing back so we could make our own products.

Which was epically stupid at face value because other countries don’t pay the tariffs and because we can’t even find people to pick vegetables!

We were to believe that people would line up to pay minimum wage jobs to make I-phones.

So, an economy that was the envy of the world was destroyed because we needed medicine to fix our very sick country.

Anywhoha…

The markets crashed.

Global pain was felt.

And the plan was gospel for all of three days.

The Art of the Steal is all in the details.

The cabinet that’s filled with billionaires sold their stocks before the big drop.

Now they’re buying again after the tariffs we so desperately needed to save our country were abandoned.

Guess we no longer need medicine.

It’s a criminal enterprise.

It’s nauseating.

It’s dumb and the cult is disgusting to me.

On Monday they scream:

“Thank you, oh great leader for hitting everyone with tariffs!” 

They sit behind their keyboards as economic experts (even though most couldn’t pass business law in high school) letting the world know that tariffs is a genius idea!

On Wednesday they proclaimed:

“Thank you, oh great leader for pausing the tariffs because tariffs, while amazing, were killing us all! How can we ever thank you?”

They’re stealing money.

It’s the only plan…

…and I beg you to bite the bullet and just listen to him try to answer a question intelligently.

You won’t find any examples of it.

He’s not only a criminal…

He’s an idiot.

And we have to sit back and watch him rob the place, pretending that he’s smart and we aren’t.

Simply disgusted.

The other night I got home from work and Kathy and Sam were engaged in a game of backgammon. Sam had never played and wanted to learn. He got some late doubles and won his debut game. (I helped a little). And I thought of my buddy, Gag. We were roommates at Gannon back in 1983. We played at least 25 games of backgammon a night. By the end of the year he wound up beating me by just a couple of games out of a few thousand. That’s 60-year-old Gag in the photo - running the Disney marathon with his son, MJ - they do it every year. Eyes on the Horizon

My sister’s book is out there! Go get it!! It makes me so proud to see the book on Amazon, knowing that it’s very, very great! It’s been a long, long time since we were out in California, brainstorming my stories long before they were published. Carrie Lynn was writing, writing and writing some more through the years and I kept telling her… …”Go for it!” Well, she did!  To amazing results. Of course I was able to read the book as it was being put together, but I ordered a copy from Amazon yesterday and can’t wait to read it again. The shoe is on the other foot now as I have been sitting on a lot of my writing lately. I plan on getting it out there before the end of 2024, but for now: Carrie takes center stage! Eyes on the Horizon Review

It’s always strange for me when someone I know tells me that they read my books and it’s weird for them because they think of me as they’re reading the story. I didn’t quite grasp what they meant, and hoped that they’d get caught up in the story and not me. I kind of get what they’re saying now because I just finished reading my sister Carrie Lynn’s excellent first book, ‘Eyes on the Horizon’. Now, I had read the story a long while ago, but a whole lot of work went into the end product. As a writer, I always try and guess along with the author because I can see the plot lines, and I’m often critical of plot lines that come out of nowhere as the author tries to unpaint the corner he’s stuck in. There was none of that in ‘Eyes on the Horizon’! I didn’t have any moments of, ‘Come on, now, that doesn’t work!’ I caught all the subtle lines that we shared in conversations and I was proud that Carrie defined her characters clearly and used them to propel the story forward.
