MAGA Is Dead
I guess I can still be shocked.
Years ago, I worked for a man who was downright abusive to everyone who worked for him. He ruled by fear, and I spent days looking over my shoulder, afraid to make a mistake.
I was a young man at the time, and I kind of believed that it was just how the world worked. He was in charge. He could treat us however he wanted.
I finally left the job, but the first few days after leaving, I was still worried about being yelled at. I was still worried about the madman.
I had grown used to it.
I felt a little like that last night as the election results rolled in.
“MAGA is dead,” I thought. “And he is now powerless.”
Yet, I’m still concerned as how the madman might react.
It seems to be over.
Americans across the board communicated their absolute disgust with the war, the high prices, and the corruption.
Why are we cheering for billionaires?
At our own expense?
It seemed that a lot of people asked themselves those questions.
Will Democrats automatically fix everything?
Will people be held accountable for across the board criminal activities?
We have questions, but a funny thing happened once I got loose from the madman I once worked for.
Eventually, I was able to relax, and years later, I realized that HE was the problem.
Five years after he was out of my life, I forgot all about him.
Five years from now, there won’t be a lot of Americans who will feel good about putting on their MAGA hats.
Because they will realize…
…HE was the problem.
