And That’s A Wrap
By the end of the day, 2025 will be in the books.
The Yankees didn’t win the World Series - they were good, not great.
I didn’t get an ace - got close a couple of times.
I worked too much - didn’t take enough time off.
But, the family stayed healthy - and that’s the most important thing.
“Stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive.”
America has been a mess for about ten years.
It saddens me to no end, and it coincides with the emergence of a political figure who emerged, bringing hate and rage down a golden escalator.
Either that was the reason it all went to hell, or its because the Cubs won the World Series back around then.
Things need to change.
Those in power who are raping children, taking bribes for pardons, getting rich in the stock market, ducking taxes, and selling their souls have to be held to account.
The common folk need a chance at a life.
People shouldn’t have to die to stop working.
Healthcare should be a right, and not a pyramid scam.
Kids should be able to go to school without selling their future to debt, and people who work 50, 60 & 70 hours a week should be able to afford a decent home.
And food.
And transportation.
A life.
I don’t know what can happen to change all of the above.
It’ll certainly take more than a year.
We don’t need a ballroom.
People need a chance.
And I would appreciate that ace and the 28th championship for the Yankees.
I have one more wish for 2026 besides good health all around for my friends and family and my readers.
I’ll let you guess the last wish.
