Explain It To Me Like I’m Five
Americans typically travel to be with family for Thanksgiving.
That will be very difficult this year as there will be a huge reduction in the number of flights because the government is shut down.
Why is there no sense of urgency to solve this?
SNAP has been halted.
The information about who needs that help is easy to look up.
Children, the elderly and the disabled.
Even those who may be drawing it fraudulently aren’t getting rich off $100 a month.
People will truly suffer, and the courts have stood up and said:
“Fund it.”
The administration is going to the Supreme Court to fight to make sure that no starving American gets fed.
Why?
Explain it to me like I’m five, because I can’t understand it.
Grocery prices and inflation are up across the board. Tariffs are being paid by Americans.
“People are going to suffer,” the dweeb who is the speaker of the house said.
People are suffering!
Isn’t the government there to help?
Why are they going out of their way to make life more difficult.
People are working every day…
…some are not making enough money to survive because the cost to get educated, and housing costs are out of control.
Insurance costs are ridiculous…
… raising premiums will make people homeless.
Meanwhile, there is gold all over the White House.
There’s a ball room going up.
There was a Great Gatsby party at Mar A Lardo.
Explain it to me.
This isn’t great.
